What To Expect
Chances are if you’ve visited more than one Chiropractor before you would have noticed slight differences between your practitioners. Not all doctors are the same, although having said that – we guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised by not only our Chiropractors but your all round experience at Vitality Chiropractic Australia. Conversely, if you’ve never seen a Chiropractor in Mill Park you may be wondering what it will be like? Below, we have included some important information about the different types of appointments our clients have with our Chiropractors.
Initial Chiropractic Assessment
All new Vitality Chiropractic Australia customers are asked to complete our new client health & medical questionnaire, this provides valuable information to your practitioner regarding not only your presenting problem but also your general health & wellbeing. Following an in-depth discussion, your Chiropractor will perform a comprehensive analysis of your musculoskeletal system. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest standard of assessment and ongoing management. This assessment includes a postural analysis, spinal and extremity palpation as well as all relevant orthopaedic and neurological tests. After this analysis, if it is safe to do so then treatment will be given on the same day.
Report Of Findings (If required)
This consultation typically takes 20-30minutes and involves your Chiropractor outlining any relevant clinical information, treatment procedures, exercises and more in regards to your presenting problem. This ensures that you understand your problem and appropriate treatment will be administered.
Standard Chiropractic Consultations
Follow-up consultations involve your Chiropractor giving direct hands on treatment. A typical Chiropractic consultation involves the client lying face down on the table while the Chiropractor assesses the spine, musculature and overall progress to date. Progressive Examination Appointments (If required)
During your Report of Findings consultation your Chiropractor will outline an individually tailored recommendation based on your presenting problem. These recommendations may include specific exercises, activities to avoid/minimise, nutritional supplementation and much more. If ongoing Chiropractic management is required, your Chiropractor will discuss this and set out a treatment plan until your Progressive Examination. During this consultation, your Chiropractor will perform all necessary assessments to determine your exact progress to date as well as discussing these results with you.
